With our standard SR bed being one of our best sellers, it was inevitable that we would create an aluminum model of it. The Norstar AR model brings everything you could want in a standard flatbed to the lightweight construction perks of an aluminum bed. The AR model is built with a recessed 2 5/16'' gooseneck ball rated at 30,000 Lbs. a tongue weight of 6,000 Lbs. and a receiver hitch rated at 14,500 Lbs. The AR bed is built with a solid steel subframe used in the standard SR model as well, with 12 gauge aluminum rear skirting and headache rack. With an extruded aluminum decking allowing for a higher strength-to-weight ratio than a flat aluminum deck would. The clean and clear look of this bed can deliver a polished and superior image to any truck for years. With the standard 7-way plug gooseneck adapter as well as the 4, 5 & 7 way plug for the rear receiver hitch, this bed is built for towing. With several chrome or clear light options available as optional upgrades, as well as removable 6'' aluminum side rails, this bed can be built for any situation.
